No you do not have to come washed and blown out. A wash, an Express conditioning treatment, and a Booji Blowout is included with all braid styling services. You may *upgrade to a deep conditioning or steam treatment. Keep in mind we only use professional back bar products and heat protectants.

• We only provide synthetic pre-stretched braiding hair in the colors: 1,1B, 2, 4.
• We do NOT provide any crochet hair
• We do NOT offer any other colors of braiding hair at the moment.
• You may bring your own braiding hair for your appointment
• Knotless box braids: bring 4 bundles pre-stretched braiding hair ONLY in 18 inches
• For Goddess/Boho styles you will need to bring 1 bundle of human hair deep wave
• Feed-In Braids: 3 bundles of synthetic pre-stretched braiding hair
• Crochet Braids: 8 to 10 packs of your preference of crochet braids

No, you may not bring your own styling/cleansing products as this is a liability. We only use professional back bar products.

• Be sure to bring hypoallergenic pre-treated braiding hair to your appointment or pre-treat your braiding hair by dipping it in a mixture of cool water and apple cider vinegar, let it air dry completely.
• Booji Beauty do NOT offer to pre-treated braiding hair.

All of our Booji Stylist try to stay within our service time limits for the following:

• Knotless Box Braids: 3.5 to 7 hours depending on the length and size
• Passion Twists: 4 to 6 hours depending on the length and size
• Crochet Braids: 3 to 4 hours depending on the size
• Feed-In braids: 2 to 3 hours depending on the length and size
• Natural Cornrows/Mens Braids: 45 minute to 2 hours depending on the thickness and style
• Loc Services: 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the thickness and length

We estimate that your braid services should last for the following timelines:

• Knotless Box Braids: 4 to 5 weeks
• Passion Twists: 3 to 4 weeks
• Crochet Braids: 3 to 4 weeks
• Feed-In braids: 1 to 2 weeks
• Natural Cornrows/Mens Braids: 2 weeks
• Loc Services: 3 to 4 weeks

**We do NOT recommend that you keep your braids in longer than the timeframe listed above, as this can cause damage and matting. Keep in mind, we charge a detangling fee of $1.00/minute. **

• Wrap your braid style in a satin or silk scarf and place a bonnet on top when sleeping, exercising, relaxing etc.
• For individual braid styles we recommend you pin the braids into a pineapple formation, and sleep with a silk or satin bonnet.
• To keep the box braids looking fresh, we offer a "Box Braid Refresh" service. This service can only be booked 3 weeks from the original install date.

Do not wash your braid style as the will cause the braid style to frizz and matting of your natural hair.

Yes, we do. Be sure to add it when booking.

Kids Policy:

• The youngest age we service is 4 years old and older

• If your child is tender headed or has a sensitive scalp, and they are not able to sit through the duration of their service, then we will change their service to a simple service (i.e., wash and blowout and/or 2 braids). If your child cannot sit through a service, we have the right to refuse services and charge an "Inconvenience Fee" of $1.00 per minute.

• Please do not feed your children sugary drinks, snacks, or candy prior to their appointment.

• Be sure to bring an electronic device for your child to watch or play games on for the duration of the service.

• If you choose to stay at the salon during the duration of your child's service, be sure that you stay seated in the waiting area as we do not allow parents to hover over stylists while they are trying to work.

Kids Drop Off & Pick-up:

• You may only drop off your child if they are well mannered, can sit still to get services, and do not have special needs or health issues.

• Upon the staff calling/texting you that your child's service is complete, we allot a 15-minute pick-up window, any time after that will cost $1 per minute.
